European Engagement
Global change also starts at home. European engagement is about mobilising Danish citizens, young people and students in the fight for global sustainability, children's rights and international solidarity. When young people in Denmark engage with the world's challenges, it not only creates knowledge and empowerment here, but also concrete solutions that strengthen children and young people in the countries we work in.
CHALLENGES
100% for Children aims to engage Danish citizens in global development and empower young Danes to play an active part in global sustainability and solidarity.
The Sustainable Development Goals require efforts across all sectors and borders, and progress in one area often contributes to progress in others. Therefore, we are building bridges between Danish educational institutions, businesses, and our partners in Kenya, Ghana, Malawi, and Ukraine. Danish students gain practical experience in applying academic knowledge to global development challenges, while pupils and students increase their understanding of global inequality, sustainability, and children's rights.
