At the meeting, Mette Villek\u00e6r \u00d8stergaard resigned as chairwoman and Torgny M\u00f8ller as cashier. Both Mette and Torgny have contributed greatly to 100%'s work over the past many years. However, the vacant seats on the board of directors have already been filled and we would like to welcome the new board of directors to 100% for the Children:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Romaric G\u00e9 - ><div class=\"grve-column-wrapper\" ><h2 class=\"grve-element grve-title grve-align-left grve-h2\" style=\"\"><span><strong>Why 100% for the Children?<\/strong><\/span><\/h2><div class=\"grve-element grve-text\">\r\n\t\t\t<p>\u201c100% for the Children is a small development organization, and you should not be fooled by that. A small, but highly professional and focused team ensures change-creating development with sustainability and children's rights as the focal point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is how 100% for the Children's new chairman, Romaric G\u00e9, describes the organization and its work for vulnerable children and young people in Kenya and Ghana. Romaric has previously been part of the board as a member.<\/p>\n<p>\"I have become a proper part of the team as chairman and therefore volunteer coordinator, and I am proud to be involved in making a crucial difference for vulnerable children in Ghana and Kenya.\"<\/p>\n<p>Romaric has for the past 2 years, also acted as a volunteer coordinator, and therefore he works closely with the staff and volunteers in 100% for the Children. On a daily basis, Romaric works as a project employee in MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS, where he works with young people and entrepreneurship in Denmark - an experience that benefits 100%.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t<\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-background-wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-section grve-row-section grve-fullwidth-background grve-padding-top-1x grve-padding-bottom-1x grve-bg-none\"  style=\"background-color:#dee8da;\"><div class=\"grve-container\"><div class=\"grve-row grve-bookmark grve-columns-gap-30\"><div class=\"grve-column wpb_column grve-column-1\" ><div class=\"grve-column-wrapper\" ><blockquote class=\"grve-element grve-align-center grve-with-icon\" style=\"\">  <div class=\"grve-quote-icon\">  <i class=\"fas fa-quote-left grve-text-primary-1 grve-medium\"><\/i>  <\/div><p>100%'s work to improve children's living conditions and rights is one of the most meaningful things I can think of.<\/p><\/blockquote><h4 class=\"grve-element grve-title grve-align-center grve-h5\" style=\"\"><span>Betina heron, new member of the board.<\/span><\/h4><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-background-wrapper\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"grve-section grve-row-section grve-fullwidth-background grve-padding-top-1x grve-padding-bottom-1x grve-bg-none\"><div class=\"grve-container\"><div class=\"grve-row grve-bookmark grve-columns-gap-30\"><div class=\"grve-column wpb_column grve-column-1\" ><div class=\"grve-column-wrapper\" ><div class=\"grve-element grve-text\">\r\n\t\t\t<p>To the question of \"why 100% for the Children?\" the new board member Betina Heron answers:<\/p>\n<p>\u201d100%'s work to improve children's living conditions and rights is one of the most meaningful things I can think of. That was the reason for joining the board of directors years ago - and that is the reason for me to rejoin the board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Betina has previously been part of the board of directors in 100% for the Children, but had to retire for a period. She explains:<\/p>\n<p>\"That I stopped a few years ago had nothing to do with 100%, but was solely due to bustle with me privately and professionally, and hence a feeling of not delivering a proper effort.\"<\/p>\n<p>Betina is now back and ready to contribute. To the question of what Betina thinks she can contribute to the board, she answers:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThrough my work and involvement in a number of business networks, I have good contacts with companies for whom CSR and the Global Goals fills more and more. One has just been able to celebrate their 10th anniversary. These are, of course, Helene Gertsen and Lene Pedersen. In addition to being part of the board of directors, Helene and Lene coordinate internships for social worker students from Copenhagen University College.<\/p>\n<p>Lene tells: \"I joined the board of directors at 100% because of my professional interest and because I certainly believe that the efforts and projects that we contribute to our collaborators in the South, help to create a positive development.\"<\/p>\n<p>And Helene continues: \u201cIt is a huge privilege to be allowed to collaborate with people which I can really feel their passion about 100%'s visions and the work we do. In addition to being committed to 100% for the Children's Board of directors, Erik also works for another charity that focuses on education among children in Malawi. Erik tells:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn 2013, I visited a poverty-stricken village in Malawi, where many parents struggled to pay for their children's schooling. That's why I started a school project for the children. I have also been committed to 100% for the Children Since 2018,.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Signe Pedersen is also new on the board of directors and is currently working as a alternate.  Signe has actively participated in various charity projects for many years, mainly for vulnerable children in both Denmark and abroad. To the question of why Signe wants to be 100% committed to the Children, she answers:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen the opportunity came to involve me in 100% for the Children, I knew this was where my energy needed to be focused.
