As part of a strong European network, with partners including Station<\/a>, European Youth Parliament (EYP)<\/a> and Youth and Environment Europe (YEE)<\/a>,

Y-RESCUE: Young leaders at the forefront of urban climate resilience<\/span><\/span><\/h2>
\r\n\t\t\t

Y-RESCUE is a new initiative that empowers 300 young people aged 18-30 with the tools, knowledge and community to turn climate anxiety into action. Together with partners across Europe, they are developing pilot projects that create concrete solutions in cities - and that can be scaled and replicated in other communities.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t

100% for the Children is one of the organizations behind Y-RESCUE, Youth for Resilient Cities and Urban Environments, because we work to ensure that children and young people in vulnerable urban areas are not forgotten, but are given a voice and real influence in climate action. Climate change affects children the most, and that is why it is crucial that young people are involved in finding and driving the solutions.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t

Research & Dialogue<\/h3><\/div>

We begin Y-RESCUE by mapping existing knowledge and best practices for youth engagement in climate adaptation. Through surveys, interviews, and workshops, you and other young people will have the opportunity \u2014 together with experts \u2014 to identify the most pressing climate challenges in your own community.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Tools & Training<\/h3><\/div>

Based on our research, we develop practical educational resources, including toolkits, guides, and training programmes. These tools are designed to be easy to understand and accessible, helping young people and youth organisations strengthen their skills in project management and stakeholder engagement.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Capacity-building<\/h3><\/div>

Y-RESCUE hosts a series of training sessions and peer-learning events that bring young people together across borders and backgrounds. Here, we focus on strengthening your leadership and advocacy skills, while also creating space for youth organisations to share experiences and learn from one another.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

Youth-led action<\/h3><\/div>

With support from mentors and training, young teams design and carry out concrete pilot projects in their communities. This gives you the chance to apply your skills in real life and create practical examples of how young people can make cities more resilient to climate change. The results will be shared at conferences and public forums to promote youth-driven climate action across Europe.<\/p><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>

European Youth Perspectives on Urban Climate Resilience<\/span><\/h4>
\r\n\t\t\t

How do young people in Europe experience the climate crisis in their cities \u2013 and what do they believe needs to be done to make cities more resilient, just, and sustainable?<\/p>\n

This report gathers firsthand insights from over 200 young Europeans on urban climate resilience. It shows how young people are already feeling the consequences of climate change, such as extreme heat, floods, air pollution, and drought in their daily lives \u2014 but also how they wish to contribute to solutions. The report points to the need for greener urban spaces, better access to climate knowledge, more support for youth-led initiatives, and genuine inclusion of young people in local decisions.<\/p>\n\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t
