Hand Craft for the rights of the disabled

We work to break down prejudices against people with special needs, through crafts.

We support jobs for the disabled. This we do in different ways. One way is to support their production of crafts and convey the stories behind the craft.

100% for The children started their efforts at the landfill by strengthening the children's health and securing them an education. We saw more and more children with special needs, over time. Most often this is due to the fact that the child was born under very unhygienic conditions at the landfill as well as a poor diet during the pregnancy. That is why we started a program for children and young people with special needs.

Through crafts, we work to break down prejudices against people with disabilities. We buy wood crafts and jewelry made in a workshop run by our collaborator in Mombasa.

At the same time, it is an income-generating activity which ensures sustainability in the project, for our target group, the money from the sale of the craft goes to the program for children and young people with special needs.

We bring the hand crafted goods with us when, we collaborate with CHPevent, we tell stories from our work at castle fairs throughout the country. We show Danes that you can easily be an active citizen with a disability.
